Spring Road Wellness & Chiropractic Center is the only chiropractic facility fully integrated with a medical practice in the Central, PA region.  We have been accepted by the medical community as a result of our evidence-based, well-researched approach to conservative management of numerous musculoskeletal conditions.  Our approach combines multiple therapeutic options including spinal manipulation, McKenzie method, traction/spinal decompression therapy, physiotherapy, massage therapy / myofascial release, and wellness programs to better serve your health care needs.  Each of these interventions serves a therapeutic purpose and when combined they offer a greater effect than when performed individually.  As a result, our approach will better able you to obtain a faster response to healing and improved function.  

We are committed to seeing improvement of your condition within no more than 4-6 visits and for some cases even sooner.  It is our goal to get you back to pre-condition status as soon as possible and to empower and educate you on how to maintain the improvements that we will work together on during your individualized care for your specific condition.  We will also, if preferred, work closely together with your other medical doctors to maintain continuity of your overall care through appropriate communication with your other healthcare providers.

We pride ourselves in diagnosing your condition properly in an effort to devise an appropriate therapeutic care plan for your specific condition.  As a result you will spend approximately one hour with the doctor on your initial visit to thoroughly evaluate your condition with a detailed history and examination.  Also if any further diagnostic testing, including but not limited to x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, or lab studies; is indicated, we work closely with many diagnostic centers and will schedule your appointments as deemed appropriate.

We also understand that conservative management of your condition may not always be the best option.  As a result, we work closely with many other specialists (medical doctors, orthopedist, neurologist, etc.) in the area who may be better suited to treat your particular condition.  Conservative management should always be considered prior to more invasive care.  However, if we feel that it is necessary or urgent to seek other forms of medical care for your condition, rest assured that we will get you to the right specialist, if your condition requires further medical attention.  

It is known through research that if you do not see improvement of your condition within 7-10 days of self-managed therapies including, but not limited to, over-the-counter pain medication, ice, heat, and/or exercises you most likely need further intervention offered through a non-surgical specialist.  The sooner you schedule an appointment the more likely it is that we will be able to successfully treat and manage your condition with our conservative approach.  In other words, do not wait for symptoms to resolve on their own, as you could be complicating your condition and your options for care!
